TWA Flight 800 exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Long Island, New York on July 17, 1996. Bob Greene: A wrongful death case claims that freedom of information act or FOIA evidence has emerged proving an errant United States vessel fired at aerial target drones flying nearby. The complaint accuses the U.S. Department of Defense, the United States Navy, and the contractors Raytheon Technologies Corporation and Lockheed Martin Corporation of a cover-up.
