Introduction
Hollywood babylon is a book published by kenneth anger, a child actor turned experimental film maker. Anger spent the 19 forties and 19 fifties drifting between various inner circles and marginalized sub groups in and around hollywood. He compiled these articles into a which paired, usually partially pantasized, or at the very least, embellished, versions of true stories with sometimes grotesque, often sereal or all too real, photos. The book was initially published france in 19 59, but it was not widely commercially available in the us until 19 75.
