If you're buying specifically to be used as TV speakers, get regular TV speakers. Most sound bars are not that much better than the built-in speakers of your TV and also are way, way worse than a big system. If you can do the big system and it doesn't have to be a high-end big system, it just gets bigger. Even though I'm a two-channel or two-point-one person, I love having a subwoofer and the two speakers for me.
