The 90 Percent Rule
The correct number is 90 percent in fact it's actually a range but I'm just going to say 90 percent for the case the sake of ease and to make it easier to express. In order to reach a 60 percent chance of correct retrieval we had to wait for like 250 days before we asked this question again. This is the kind of level of difficulty where you get actually the optimum learning rate okay so that's great now we know how difficult desirable difficulties need to be. We're talking about a range between about 85ish and 95ish percent but like 90s in the middle of the right there's a range. One source gives us exactly the number 90 percent and doesn't give us any
