The Benefits of Sending Radio Waves
If they're not too far away visible light eventually gets absorbed and scattered by dust that hangs between the stars so if they're very far away they might use infrared. Here's my question we think sending radio waves is kind of the you know as they used to say the bees knees because that's a way to communicate at a distance. But suppose a truly intelligent civilization found a much cleverer way to communicate with aliens of their own intellect and would rank us so far below that we're not even worth their interest.
