Is There a Relationship Between Ontologies and Ontology?

There's a connection here to Heidegger, I think, and how he talks about ontotheology. Have you heard this term? It's basically this idea of this impulse in Western philosophy to reduce all beings to a supreme being. So that supreme being could be God, but there's a similar impulse behind reducing everything to some objective pre-givenOntological norms are just like differentnorms for different contexts.
