Balthazar is deeply influenced overtly by both Aquinas and Sungen. The conversation between Balthazar and Aquinas continues to be an interesting one from the point of view of the things that I'm highlighting. Rimi Brock recently made a very cleverly stated argument in which he claimed that it's not the case that we've left the Middle Ages but we're only living out one version of them now in full blossom. We should look again to the realism and competence of the Christian Aristotelian revolution of the first era of the university.
