Mark O'Mara used to work as a photographer for Thrasher magazine. He says he was inspired by his love of science and punk rock in the '90s. After getting his PhD, he moved from San Francisco to Palo Alto but didn't get back into music. "I got any mark white that I grew up with who now works for Apple," he said.
