The Role of Institutions in Decentralization
The way I like to frame the discussion around decentralization is by actually almost excluding the world altogether and say, let's talk about authority that dispersion. There are two access to information and the ability to contribute to decision making. And it doesn't really matter at the end of the day whether on Twitter, every user can post some content. This is a very marginal peripheral phenomena. What really matters is whether there is access to information for everyone,. equivalently inside the platform and whether people can contribute equally to decision making within that platform.
