The Importance of Relationships

NT Wright has some incredible insight into how these characteristics get into our bones and inform the dynamics of relationships that we have with people. He says, when human beings give their heartfelt allegiance to and worship that which is not God, they progressively cease to reflect the image of God. All this does is it brings separation. It brings brokenness and discord. But as we said, life in the spirit is a life of right doing and right relationships, which results in whole person peace and joy. That's the life that God has for us.
