Pleasures of story telling sounds like a robert louis or stevenson wolfe's work. It's pleasure a different kind, less action and more observation and quiet movements. And yet it's not exactly cloistered view either on the world and its current state as it makes an impression on our consciousness. The book published by the hogarth press was beautiful in and of itself, an object that one wanted to hold in one's hand. In flood is a bit funny to use as a word. Remember, we're on a smaller scale.
