If time discovers truth and something passes muster through each of these three buckets, I think it's a pretty strong signal that this idea has been true for a really long time. There are going to be many, many, many things in the world that don't have that pattern. But if you can kind of go positive, go first, if you can expect people and things to reciprocate in a way that you put out into the world, then it's an effective way to interact with other people.
