The Virgin Birth Is an Essential Component of Our Christian Creeds and Passions
The virgin birth is absolutely an essential component, obviously right, of our christian creeds and passions. But i want to suggest that it would do little good for god's people to confess the virgin birth if at the same time we perp ate the ways of empire. So how shall we receive emmanuel? Matthew tells us, only in dying to ourselves that we might truly live in him. Only in trusting that his way, the way of the cross, is the way to liberation.
