The Importance of Emotional Storytelling
I think the key word there is authenticity, isn't it? I mean, obviously as an editor, I didn't like the spelling mistakes, but it did come over as emotionally authentic. So I think our focus on emotional storytelling that's human and authentic and transparent does have to be at the centerpiece of all communication we do. And similarly, Larry Summers in his economic discussion at the close of the World Economic Forum said, despite all his grouchyness, they called him the grouchy economist, which he thought was very amusing and endearing.
