Hitayoshi's Tea Ceremony With Nobunaga
Hita yoshi learned many things from his lord, noble naga. As vicious and murderous as nobonaga could be, there was another side to him that had a deep respect for cultural arts like poetry, tea and theatre. Hitayoshi was commanding one of nobanaga's powerful armies in western japan. He quickly negotiated a cease fire with castle he was besieging and raced back to kioto with his army to confront the traitorous general. To quote historian samuel hawley, this mercurial leader died twitching on the floor.
