The cook county jail is 96 acres in size, and it's equivalent to 74 american football fields. The sheriff ah himself, has said people are sometimes waiting up to seven years, one person, or 13 thousand people. So many people move through that jail? Ah, well, they might also be transferred to a prison out of the city.
