A sense of meaning is you have a sense of yourself and then you feel connected to something some larger, what I write about as a system. Like this political anti-war movement or how I help clean beaches in an environmentalist movement, et cetera,. Or I'm part of a church. And that's the feeling that makes you feel like Jane Goodall said, like, wow, I am amazed that I'mpart of this thing that's larger than this self. But of course, those can be very dangerous and pernicious.
