Russian Oligarchs
I don't really see any particular distinction between Russian oligarchs and other oligarchs. It's not inconceivable that in two years time say there might be a crisis around Taiwan and suddenly we'll be scrambling to dig up the money of Chinese oligarchs. So I think that this focus on Russian oligarchs is a foreign policy decision, but there has not yet been anything like the recognition that this should be a law enforcement response. We should be investigating the provenance of money that's coming into our economies proactively," he says.
