The Neocon and the Geopolitical Vision of the Iraq War
CNN's John Defterios says the Rand report seems to be promoting a Neocon geopolitical vision. It looks at these anti imperialist or independent, you know, non NATO non Western countries as artificial constructs, he says. And it envisions them as illegitimate states in the configuration that they currently have and imagine their break-up by economic sanctions rather than military action. That has proven to be geopolitically and domestically impossible to really achieve, Defterios adds.
