Amos Otis Hit a Valid Pitch Which Slowly Rolled Over the Foul Line
During a baseball game in 1981, Amos Otis hit a valid pitch which slowly rolled over the foul line. After some debate, he was allowed to walk to first base. Do I need to know a lot about baseball? Not really. Baseball has an enormously thick and technical set of rules for every eventuality. But it wasn't his fault that it went over the foul lines. In this case, it was a regulation game of baseball. He hit a bird. The place, the thing that they were playing on was moving. So if it was rolling and the playing field was moving, then it rolled somewhere else. There was some interference going on though.
