Do Dogs Have Positive Emotions?

CNN's John Sutter spoke with scientists at the University of California, San Diego. They used MRI to see if dogs were actually feeling emotions. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure but it can also be responsible for anticipating something that will be pleasurable or interesting. The study was published in the journal Animal Cognition.
