The History of Oman in the 20th Century

Oman was a prosperous country in the 19th century. After its founder's death, it started to decline partly because of British influence. Sultan Said bin Tamor tried to erase the country's debts and regain internal control. His son Gabus eventually overthrew his father by recruiting Omani and British people.
