As the number of choices increases, Wikipedia says it then peaks. People tend to feel more pressure confusion and potentially dissatisfaction with their choice. And so what that tells me is we shouldn't have as many speakers as possible. We are being inflicted upon by all these channels. No, we're not. But I happen to know why this works in your brain. Why?
