Peter was a fisherman before this. And essentially what peter was doing subconsciously and consciously, was saying, yo, it's over. It's i it. It's a rap. This is the final chapter of my life with jesus. So he went back to what he knew and was comfortable with in his life. The heart of jesus is a god who will travel 70 miles outside of his way to build a fire to serve breakf for a man who betrayed him and deserted him. He wanted to bring him back from failure. Our lives do not have to end in failure. The thing that defines you will be what god says about you.
