The Effect of Altruism

And the real focus is on the most good, because people don't appreciate just how difference in impact between different organizations are. When we've surveyed people, they seem to think that the best organizations are maybe fifty per cent better than typical organizations like charities. But that's not really the way of things. The best is more like hundreds or thousands of times better than a typical organization.
