The History of Pie
The history of pie may have started with the humble and delicious chicken pie, but we've done some weird stuff to pies since then. Stargazie Pie is a type of Cornish Pie usually served around Christmas time from out the top of which up several fish heads, their dead eyes gazing up at the sky. What kind of fish are traditionally used in this pie? This pie is from England. The Cornwallisan. Um... God. Mackerel. Haddock? I feel like that's a very British fish. They're always talking about Haddock over there. Over on their little trivia game shows that I watch. No, that's not right either.
