Hannah: I think i have tried before exit interviews to ask for what i want, because at that point, i feel like, well, if i've decided that i'm goingto lave the job, i kind of have nothing to lose. We haven't even talked about the fact that leaving a job, it has so many costs to win,. The transition costs, building your reputation at the new place and those connections of strong ties you have in your current place. That's not to say it should hold you back, but you have to be clear eyed about what you're giving up when you leave. And adam, don't leave us.
We all go through periods at work when we think, I am done with this job and ready to move on. But are you really ready to leave your team and your company? You owe it to your career and your future self to make that decision carefully.
