Is the Fed in a Box Because It Can't Really Rake Rates That Much?

The fed doesn't really have to raise rates that much any more because the neutral rate of interest is now so much lower than it used to be. Because we have so much debt, we get rewarded by having lower rates of interest on that debt. Yet, if interest rates go way up, it's going to be the fede reserve that is counting on the treasury to bail it out. But it's impossible, because the feder reserve is the one that prints money. The treasury doesn't print anything.
