Can a Single Chain Really Cater to Both at the Same Time?
The Avalanche C chain is a fully decentralized chain and there is no notion of a legal jurisdiction on that chain. The institutions that are on the edges of thatchain, they need to do compliance, but the nodes inside the system operate as normal. And so we are now able to bring together these two things that otherwise would have required the compromise of some kind. We're in a different environment where essentially fund managers are in a risk-off mode when they go off all kinds of risky assets like crypto trades.
