The Role of Tissue Samples in the Diagnosis of Sarcoidosis
Confirmation of sarcoidosis really requires tissue sampling that demonstrates non-nequretizing granulomas in a patient with compatible clinical and radiological signs. Loughgren syndrome, Lupus pernio, and here for its syndrome don't need to be biopsy. The decision of whether sampling is necessary for a patient with asymptomatic bilateral high-lalenphedinopathy is particularly controversial even amongst the guideline panel.
