The Sherpas' Generator
Each rod contains about half a pound of plutonium, nuclear fuel to power the generator. In theory, there's enough plutonium inside the generator to last for decades. The rods can generate 40 watts of power through heat-emitting radioactive decay. This type of generator was invented to be used in hard-to-reach locations.
