Jason Cherry: I don't think it's so much that we can enter into a symbol. It's that the symbol itself participates in that which it symbolizes. And this is sort of become, if you say there is an end, that has become the kind of explicit one. The whole point of it all is just to celebrate the sheer fact of giving ourselves the absolute freedom to do or define or be whatever we each as individuals are going to be. Except of course we know that can't happen.
