Is Leadership Democratized?

We've gotten this message in our culture that everything should be democratized. I think it's one of the few things you actually have to earn. You can't just download an app and say, 'Now I'm a leader' We don't know what it takes to get a coalition of people toward a goal or a project. And even if we did, we might personally feel bad about it or weirdly insecure about it.
