Transcortical Sensory Phasia
Trans cortical sensory phasia usually involves areas just inferior or maybe even posterior, to werni's area. These are patients who look a bit like werniks, that is that they have fluent speech, but it might not make a lot of sense. And then finally, if you have enough damage to the whole speech pathway, you can have a global ephasia. These are people who are mute and cannot understand or comprehend. But taking a step back, more generally, we're doing ok if we can sort out whether it's fluent or non fluent.
