I Think It's Best to Leave Yer Sons of These Sorts of Things Out There
Academy is its own thing, and there's all sortsof custom and habit. People are largely mimetic. They copy. It's easier to fit in tan to stand out. Em it's easy to go orl go with the flow. You're more likely to keep your job er. These things are very human, all too human. So i don't necessarily think they are any better or worse in the academy than they are in probably any other profession or walk of life. But i think they have ar a more acute significance because those of us who are involved in intellectual suits and activities and critical thought to obviously, are much more acutely aware of it when it happens.
