Is There a £400 Reduction on Everybody's Bill?
The £400 reduction on everybody's bill stops in March. In April, that's when the energy price guarantee rises 20%. Unless wholesale prices drop a lot, you're going to be paying 20% more next winter. There'll also be £150 for 6 million people on most disability benefits paid in summer this year. State pensioners will also get an extra £300 payment on top of their normal winter fuel payment, paid next winter. The big thing missing this year is the £400 that goes to all homes.
