Love for particular other people seems to be the clear example of kinds of things that give meaning to our lives. But there's more than one reason why we do these things, and they're not all about people. So in addition to loving individual people, i think love is enough to drive me into fields like art or philosophy. I ought to do those things rather than from these other categories. It's somehow this idea for the truth, or for the sake of good philosophy, its it's something that's really not captured by these other things too.
