The Importance of Test Screenings
Arriva had a very long journey in the classroom room. It overran because there were certain things, aspects of the story that weren't really clear enough to be able to have the feelings we wanted at the end. We had some sort of pretty worrying test screenings where people just didn't kind of get the basic tenet of the film. So we had to keep going back to the drawing board to try and figure out a way of making it clearer in some way. There's nothing like sitting in a audience without people and feeling what it, how the things are going down. And you can tell absolutely hand on heart when the film is working and cooking, really cooking.
