Sewing and the Immigrant Experience

i can relate to wanting to assimilate in many times and parts of my life. I think i always grew up being taught to be and then learning how to be very proud of being tyones. And so when i think about my sewing, there are certain things that i do in certain decisions that i make, that i think definitely from my cultural background and heritage. Then there's like things that i haven't been able to explore yet that i want to do because of my identity.
