The Use of Patriotism in the United Kingdom
I always think the times weirdly when I feel most patriotic are at a big station. And that basically comes down to it, love which I know not everyone shares of British railways. So is there a use that patriotism can have that in that way? If you can do things together with people you don't agree with, you get out of where America is going because it's got fewer shared institutions. Red American, Blue America just see the world really differently and therefore in an existential battle for who's America it is.
