Heels fall out of favor in 17 forties, a bit after louis time affairness. Stacked leather is when you literally stack leather. You can build it up as high as you want, but that's associated more with manly outdoor activity. So n to this day, still privilege stacked leather ung over self covered leather heels - what women wear. These are called selfcovered leather heels. These are associated with domestic space or ceremonial dress.
