Pure Review Is Great, but We Don't Have an Alternative
Science is decentralized, massively so that's why there can't be a conspiracy theory. When you write something in a journal, other people try to replicate your experiment around the world. And they're goin to try to replicate it in places with utterly different politics and identities. If they can't replicate it, then, you know, it's like a orphaned block. Your publication is out there, but it's not part of the main chain any more. Science is like a block chain. We have forks, and we have reorgs,. and we have orphan blocks, right? But it's decentralized. It's kind of like figuring out what the longest chain is.
