What's Happened to the Pilots?
Of the 19 bodies that were recovered, it was determined that ten had probably died from drowning. The condition of the bodi suggested that the water impact was not sufficiently great to cause complete disintegration of the aircraft. None of the bodies had been subjected to fire before or after impact. Initial tests indicated elevated levels of carbon monoxide in several of the recovered bodies.
