Ety was able to tease out a lot of new, previously unknown information about how life in the ocean really works. One of the coolest ones was observing giant six gill sharks that would go vertical in the water and suck up the muck with their gills. It goes a long way to explaining how these giants manage to survive in a food poor environment.
