The Lossy Chain Is a Transformer
Cognitiveism is based in information theory and the notion of trying to send a signal over a channel with conversation or making art. It has enabled me to see how much loss there is, how much in conversation when I talk to somebody they're not really talking to me. They're talking to their meocortex and a simulation of me that is formed from parts like the little convolutional filters that are learned by the image models. Like they construct a version of me and render a version ofme and interpret my words through that version of me. And I see that very clearly now when I interrelate with a lot of people because I have these concepts of the latent space.
