The Matrix and the Future of Artificial Intelligence
I thought of the Matrix sequel whilst reading this book that thing of that actually Neo was required for the system to work. In some sense what artificial intelligence shows us today is that the machine doesn't need us at all it can go on without us and I wonder if there might be like another version of the Matrix or maybe the last Matrix was something like this but you know how in the Matrix there's still the sense in which the Matrix the machine requires our body for surplus for energy for surplus energy it needs to extract it we're bad our bodies are batteries for the machine.
