The Null Hypothesis in Astrophysics
The only time that you would generally see that in sort of astro particle physics are on things like press releases. A few years ago, they discovered the Higgs boson, which was a very disappointing day for all of us. There's less of a focus in astrophysics on drawing that line at some given p value and say either we have or we haven't discovered it.
