Is the Car a Subjective Double?

The idea that we become ever more solipsistic in the manner of an astronaut is, to me, completely frightening. I think there's a connection that we can make between the solipsism of the astronaut and this injunction to get in touch with this imaginal primordial being that's in the grass. The plane of the symbolic is so compelling in its incessant drift, taking us from this vector to that vector. But it becomes a form of addiction where this idea of touchgrass is a kind of line of flight from that.
