Gangis khan's empire ultimately fractures into four distinct kanates. There was almost a an expiry date built in into this type ofa empire building, because it's difficult to pull off in practice. It wasn't just the external s that propelled this contradiction, but it's a contradiction that emerged even within the chingasid world order. The fact that they're not fighting each other means the connections that they had stablished can continue. And so i think that's maybe what's happening o thi point in the fourteenth century.
