The Choice Between Electric Chair or a 'Filter Squad'
Only three people have been executed by firing squads since 19 76, when the death penalty was once again ruled constitutional. South carolina passed a law last year that required those on death road to choose between the electric chair and the firing squad. In recent years it's become harder and harder for states to get their hands on the drugs necessary for lethal injection.
